From the multiple meals enjoyed together, to the intimate worship services, the community at the UK Wesley seeks God and grows together.. Students engage in challenging discussion with one another both in weekly Bible studies and life groups, as well as reaching out to the campus and helping new students connect with Christ. The Wesley is a place where people gather to live life together. The Wesley foundation can easily become a second family to anyone involved. Sometimes living life together is full of laughter, games, and lively discussions. Other times living life means walking through struggles, questions, disappointments, and heart breaks. Students gather around tables and couches(remove) to support each other. At the wesley It is not unusual to see students tutoring each other in a difficult subject like Calculus or students listening to each others internal struggles. It is also not unusual to hear laughing or singing echoing throughout the building. Deep friendships are formed around our dinner tables, game nights, movie nights, nerf wars and other events. Whether you live at the Wesley, at the dorms, or commute, the Wesley is a place for you to hang and belong. We want everyone who enters our doors to experience the same love of Christ that we have been given.

College is a great time of growth as students are beginning to step into adulthood. Students also grow socially, mentally, and emotionally. The Wesley focuses on all growth with a special emphasis on spiritual growth. We want students to get to know and grow in their relationship with Christ and Christlikeness. We also want students to become lifelong followers of Jesus who are equipped to lead and impact the world. We encourage students to spend time alone with God. Moreover, we provide opportunities for students to grow corporately in their relationship with God and others through worship services, prayer opportunities, Bible studies, retreats, and life groups. No matter where you are in your journey, we will encourage you to find and know Jesus. You could be someone who is not sure what religion may be right or someone who has followed God your entire life, we will still encourage you to grow. We strive to be a place to thrive, have fun,

The Wesley foundation is a place that can be made your own if you chose. We have a wide demographic of student’s who all make this place their home. It is up to you to choose what that looks like. Whether that means working in a leadership role or being involved, this home will mold to your experience. We support our students in a variety of ways, but most importantly we strive to have our students thrive in whatever they chose.

…a place to have fun

Life can be hard and needs moments of rest and fun. At the Wesley we embrace fun. Late night food runs, and gaming outlets are a Wesley staple. We have Friday game nights often every other week. These include nerf wars, board games, video game competitions, and other outings. Spontaneity is often key to getting into games. Our community is always welcome for new people to join in.

The Wesley foundation has a dorm where students choose to live in Christian community. It is the real classic college experience with community dorms and community living spaces, similarly, to having a small Christian college experience at a large state school.
