Casey Neely

Rev. Casey Neely became the UK Wesley Foundation’s Director and Campus Minister July 1, 2019.

Casey is married to Jessica, and they have enjoyed being in ministry with youth and young adults for over 20 years. They have two daughters, Emma (16) and Megan (12). They love boating, hiking, football, home improvement projects, and watching way more TV than they probably should.

Casey grew up near Daytona Beach, FL and graduated from the University of Florida. He might also be a Gator fan, so let’s pray for him, that his heart may be converted to love our Wildcats more than those terrible Gators.

Casey is an ordained (Elder) pastor in the United Methodist Church.

He graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary prior to his ordination, earning a Master of Divinity degree. More recently he completed a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from Harvard University.

Casey loves helping people to know Jesus Christ and find a life filled with love, joy, and purpose. He served for 14 years in the Florida Conference of the UMC leading two struggling congregations to grow and transform into life-changing ministries. Casey and his family moved to Kentucky so that Jessica could be an adjunct professor at Asbury University. For the past 4 years, Casey has served as the Development Coordinator for the Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Homes.

Casey is thrilled to be at the Wesley Foundation and sees it as a perfect fit for his passions and calling.
